From their second studio album, Steptacular (c) 1999 Jive Records Formed in 1997, the British pop group consisted of Claire Richards, Lee Latchford-Evans, Lisa Scott-Lee, Faye Tozer, and Ian "H" Watkins. The group had two #1 singles in the UK, two #1 albums and fourteen consecutive top 5 hits. They sold over 20 million albums worldwide, received a BRIT award nomination in 1998 and opened for Britney Spears on tour. In 2001, when Claire and H left, the group officially disbanded. The group reunited in 2012 and again in 2017. Released in 1999, Steptacular debuted at #1 in the UK and held that position for three consecutive weeks. Tracks and the cover were used for the US release of Step One. Five singles were released, all hitting the top 5 in the UK. With the inclusion of Tragedy, the album became the first to have 6 consecutive top 5 hits.
