Two studio-bound contestants, aided by ex-newsreader Kenneth Kendall, have to solve five cryptic clues to guide the Skyrunner (played by Anneka Rice) around a course, each clue leading to the next. When the final clue was solved, this would lead to the treasure and a top prize of £1000 for the contestants. The series ran from 1983 to 1989 on Channel 4, with Anneka not appearing in the last series, but instead replaced by ex-tennis player, Annabel Croft. The series was resurrected in 2002 and 2003 by the BBC, with the Skyrunner role being taken by Suzi Perry, and Dermot Murnaghan taking the Kenneth Kendall role.
