This brief but heartbreaking statement of the main theme was not initially included on the film's soundtrack, but was then made available on the 25th Anniversary release in 2018. It's a very significant moment in the film, when the money-minded Schindler, who had just turned down the pleas of the Perlmans' daughter, starts to realise how he can use his position to save people. Starring Liam Neeson, Ben Kingsley, Ralph Fiennes, Embeth Davidtz and Caroline Goodall. Screenplay by Steven Zaillian, based upon the book Schindler's Ark by Thomas Keneally. Edited by Michael Kahn and directed by Steven Spielberg. Original score by John Williams - his 5th and (to date) last Oscar win, although he has had many nominations since.
